Wages, Hours: $8 - $8.50 per hour, 20 hours per week
Duties Include:
- DUTIES INCLUDE

Assist the manager of digital marketing in the administration of multiple e-commerce and informational websites, managing marketing e-mail lists, updating and maintaining other digital media resources and platforms. Research and implement new technology and emerging media ideas.

Maintain and update multiple e-commerce and informational websites, including but not limited to updating content, monitoring to ensure up to date information, formatting and replacing images, reading and troubleshooting programming code, etc.

Manage multiple marketing e-mail distribution lists, including following established University protocol regarding mass electronic communication, updating content, and meeting established deadlines.

Update multimedia content for display on plasma and 360 screens, and other digital media as assigned, formatting text and graphics to conform to established guidelines for consistency, technical construction, journalistic standards, and overall presentation.

Research and implement new technology ideas for improving marketing and communication, and/or leveraging emerging digital media space, such as digital social networking venues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work 20 hours per week with full time options during summer and winter breaks.

Majoring in Computer Science or related field. Strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong organizational skills

At least 1 year experience making web sites with HTML and CSS. At least 1 year programming experience using a language such as ASP, NET, PHP, JavaScript, XML, etc. Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver or similar software
